Girls 8-12 | 2024 Fall Rec Coed & Girls Basketball

Information

Season runs October 26- December 14 

• No practice or games the week of Thanksgiving Nov. 25-30 
• Game Schedules will be out after November 1st 
  • Ages 6-12 will have a practice during the week and games on Saturdays.  

Layout of the League *Rosters will be finalized on November 1st

• Week 2 is practices  
  • Girls practice on Saturday from 12:30-1:30pm
• Skills clinic is Wednesday, October 30th 
  • Girls 8-12 go from 7-8pm 

• Week 3 is scrimmage *Picture Day
• Week 4-7 are games

You order uniforms through Augusta by Nov. 1st Uniform Site

• We ask for players to wear athletic shorts or pants and a T-shirt. Basketball shoes or comfy shoes that don’t mark up the floor. 
• Bring a water bottle 
• If you have a teammate, coach, or practice day request make sure to put it down on the first day of basketball. Practice days depend on the coach and their availability. Days set aside for coaches are Wednesday, Thursday, either 6-7pm or 7-8pm. Requests are due by October 30th.

• We may do a cross over game with Ransburg but will make sure that is communicated with teams.
   

Need Volunteer Coaches: If you are interested, please write it down on the sign in sheet on first day of practice, we will have a coach’s orientation and background check for you to complete. Please include age group you are interested in coaching and practice day/time if the player is 6 and older.
