2026–2027 YMCA Girls Basketball League
The YMCA of Greater Charleston Girls Basketball League gives young female athletes the opportunity to develop their basketball skills, compete in an organized league, and grow through teamwork and sportsmanship.
We appreciate the participation of our local schools, coaches, athletic directors, families, and community partners and their continued commitment to creating positive athletic opportunities for young people.
Our league emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, player development, positive competition, and character development while providing student-athletes with a structured and competitive basketball experience.
League Information
The league is open to eligible 5th–7th grade girls basketball teams. Registration is by (School-Based Team) team only; individual player registrations are not accepted.
Regular-season games are scheduled primarily on Saturdays at participating schools and approved gym locations throughout the area. Game locations and times will be determined based on the number of participating teams and available host sites.
