1st/2nd Grade- South | 2022 Spring Flag Football

Hello Coaches, Parents/Guardians and Athletes, Welcome to the PPYMCA 2024 Spring Sports Season, we are so ecstatic to have you all back for another great season! Reminder: practices start this upcoming week on 4/1/24 - make sure to check your YGAMETIME page for your coach’s name, practice location, day and time! https://ygametime.com A few things: If your team does not have a coach name next to it - this means that your team is still in need of a volunteer coach. If you or someone you know is interested please reach out to the YMCA sports staff. Here is the volunteers link: https://ppymca.volunteermatters.org/login Jerseys will be handed out the second week of practice to those that purchased them. If you still need to purchase a jersey please contact the front desk so we can make sure we have one for you at your second practice. *Preschoolers will receive t-shirts and do not need to purchase jerseys!!! Season Timeline: Week of April 1st: First week of practice for 1st-8th grade players ONLY!!! Downtown Volleyball Teams will practice at the Downtown YMCA in the Small Gym. Southeast Volleyball Teams will practice at the Southeast YMCA in the Small Gym. Downtown Flag Football/ Soccer Teams will practice at Boulder Park Downtown (38° 50' 22.7857" N 104° 48' 7.3926" W) Southeast Flag Football/Soccer Teams will practice at the Southeast YMCA Southeast Armed Services YMCA) Game schedules will be posted on YGAMETIME. You will be notified by email when schedules are available. https://ygametime.com/ April 13th : First day of games for everyone (unless you have a bye) Volleyball is played at Southeast YMCA on Saturday’s. Flag Football and Soccer plays on Saturday’s. (TBA) April 13th: First day of indoor soccer preschool clinics and kindergarten divisions!! Preschoolers will meet only on Saturdays only for Clinics. (More information to follow) Kindergartners will follow the schedule that will be posted in YGAMETIME and will practice and play only on Saturdays) May 18th is the last day of games!!! Please remember to act respectful of all involved with the program - athletes, coaches, officials, YMCA staff, and other spectators/families/guardians.
