2026 Winter Basketball League (Grades K-8th)

2026 Winter Basketball League

Join us for an exciting season of Winter Basketball!

Our league is for K-8th grade boys/girls, and it will run from January - February/March (depending on grade). Practices will be once or twice a week at a local elementary/middle school, with games taking place on Saturdays in the Eugene/Springfield area.

Registration Dates: Nov. 3 - Dec. 14

Practices start: Jan. 6

Grades:

K-1 Coed
2nd-8th grade boys and girls' leagues

Games dates by age group (on Saturdays):

K-1: Jan. 17 - Feb. 21
2nd-5th Grade: Jan. 17 - Feb. 28
6th-8th Grade: Jan. 17 - Mar. 7

Grades 2nd-5th: Y Members $140 | Non-Members $150

Every Saturday, get ready for thrilling games. Games give players the opportunity to showcase their skills and compete against other local area teams.

We do our best to accommodate your requests, so if there are any specific days, times, or locations you can or cannot make work, please contact your sports coordinator.

This program largely focuses on social/emotional development, community building for families, and basic skill building.

We encourage parents to actively participate in their child's sporting journey by volunteering as coaches or as a team parent (to help with communications). This not only enhances the experience for the players but also fosters a strong sense of community.

Youth Aikido

In Aikido, kids learn to move with control, think with clarity, and respond with respect. Each class builds coordination, discipline, and self-confidence, skills that reach far beyond the mat.

Youth can join any time of year, with monthly registration. New students should observe one class before starting, and parents or guardians are welcome to watch the first class. Optional quarterly belt testing celebrates growth and progress.

Rookies Volleyball Clinic

Rookies Volleyball Clinic (Kinder/1st Graders)

Registration will open on Sept. 1

Join us as we dive into the world of Rookies Volleyball!

The Rookies volleyball sessions will kick off on Thursday Oct. 9 and goes until Thursday Oct. 30 from 5pm-5:45pm and 6pm-645pm. You are registering for 4 Thursdays of a clinic-like volleyball setting.

We will start with warm-ups and Volleyball terminology as well as beginner skills in listening and following physical instructions. At the Y we believe in education through play and games. We will introduce scrimmages after week 1.

Player safety is our top priority. We strongly recommend bringing water for your child to stay hydrated.

The sessions will be staff-lead; however, we encourage parents to actively participate in their child's sporting journey by volunteering. This age is a great chance to get involved with your child's sports.

This program largely focuses on social/emotional development, community building for young families, and basic skill building.

Join the Y for the fall season of soccer!

Practices will be 1-2 times a week in Creswell/Phill school fields. If you have any specific days, times, or location that you can or cannot make work, please include let the sports coordinator know.

Games will be on Saturdays rotating between Creswell/Phill. The first game will be on Saturday, Sept. 20.

Please get shin guards for your player, as they are a necessary safety requirement. Bring water and warm clothes to practices and games. Cleats are recommended but not required.

At NinjaZone, we are dedicated to creating early positive experiences with health, fitness, and sports. Itty Bitty Ninjas/Lil' Ninjas is the first step in creating confidence in young children! In an organized, yet playful structure, this parent and tot class is the perfect way to socialize your child, allow them to learn and understand what it means to follow instruction, and of course, get them moving!

Class goals: Develop listening skills, fundamental movement, coordination, fine and gross motor skills, body awareness, and our NinjaZone character-building component
