Fishers YMCA Program Offerings Summer 2024 Registration is Open (Click on Link) for Summer 2024 recreational youth leagues and clinics, ages 4-12. If you need assistance registering, please contact our Membership Services Desk at 317-595-5210. LEAGUES BASKETBALL Rec – (Ages 4-12) This is a progressive basketball skill development league. This league focuses on teaching the fundamentals of basketball. BASEBALL Rec – (Ages 4-9) Kids are taught basic rules of the game and skills catch, throw, and bat in a fun team atmosphere. Every session will include practice and end with a non-scored game. FLAG FOOTBALL Rec – (Age 8-12) Flag Football at the Y will program will offer you a chance to learn the game, develop your skills and play in a safe and fun recreational environment. SOCCER Rec – (Ages 4-12) Kids are taught basic rules and game skills such as trapping, dribbling, passing and shooting as well as goalie skills. Every session will include practice and end with a non-scored game. DEVELOPMENTAL/SPECIALTY CLINICS Athletes will learn the rules of the game for that sport, and have the opportunity to practice and refine their skills through a games-centered teaching approach that enhances each player’s desire for sport. MULTI-SPORT Each week a new sport or game will be introduced. Basic skills will be covered incorporating socialization skills within the class format. A fun learning environment where you can enjoy some time with your kids as they find their passion for sports. 4 weeks.

Weather Alerts. Alerts will be sent via Y Game Time. You will receive an email using the address on file under your child’s name, or you can opt-in to text alerts via Y Game Time. We will play in light rain, so plan accordingly. Practices/Games will be canceled if there is thunder and/or lightning in the area.
