Photo Texas Photography Team & Individual Photos

Team and individual photos are not included with YMCA registration. Coaches receive a plaque featuring their team picture as a small thank-you for volunteering, but all other photos must be purchased separately.

You can order photos at any time using the QR code on your player's picture form.

Soccer Families: Your photos should be viewable now, so you can select the best pose for your order!
Volleyball families: Your photos are running approximately 1–2 weeks behind soccer, so proofs should begin becoming available soon!

All photo orders are mailed directly to your residence.

One helpful note about ordering: The online system currently shows the available photo packages but does not clearly list what is included in each package. Photo Texas is aware of this limitation in their new ordering system and is working to improve it. In the meantime, you can view the package details on the original order form included on this post.

Photo Texas Photography handles all ordering, payments, printing, and shipping directly. The YMCA is not involved in that process, so unfortunately, I won't be able to assist with individual orders. However, Photo Texas has fantastic customer service and is happy to help!

Weather Tracking

We have now added a weather tracker to each Soccer page!

While we do not cancel for rain alone, we will cancel for the following situations:
- Heat index at or over 104 degrees
- Thunder or lightning within 5 miles of the fields (requires the field be cleared for 30 minutes past last occurrence)
- Heavy rain that impedes safe play
- Poor field conditions

When I am able to make the call ahead of time, I will do my best to communicate cancellations of evening practices by 3:00 PM and games with a 2 hour heads up. That said, lightning unfortunately does not give me its schedule ahead of time! Sometimes a storm develops while teams are already at the field, and we may have to delay or cancel once everyone is there.

I do not have a secondary indoor practice location available this season. If practices are cancelled, I will work with teams that would like a makeup practice to see what we can accommodate at the fields.

Cancelled games will be rescheduled. We typically use Friday evenings for makeup games, but we may also look at Saturday or Sunday afternoons when possible. I know Friday night football can complicate things for many families, so I will try to be mindful of that when scheduling.

Any cancellations or delays will be communicated through:

The text alert system, please make sure you are signed up if you have not done so already.

Team emails

Direct communication with the coaches scheduled that evening

I will keep the communication lines open and give everyone as much notice as I reasonably can. If you do not hear from me, please assume practices and games are proceeding as scheduled.

Thank you for your flexibility, and fingers crossed we get the rain we need, during all non-soccer times!

Trusted Screening
Keeping Our Programs Safe

As part of the YMCA of Central Texas’ continued commitment to providing a safe environment for children and families, we are implementing our Trusted Screening Process for ALL adults entering YMCA facilities and program spaces.

What is Trusted Screening?
Trusted Screening is a quick identity verification and background screening process used by the YMCA of Central Texas to help provide a safe environment for children, families and everyone who participates in our programs. The screening verifies an individual’s identity and checks the National Sex Offender Registry.

What does this mean for you?

YMCA members are already screened and do not need to take any additional steps.

All community members and guests ages 18+ must register and complete our Trusted Screening Process before attending YMCA games, practices, events or other programs.
Guests should be prepared to present a valid government-issued photo ID when entering a YMCA facility or program location.
Valid forms of ID include: Driver’s License, State ID Card, Passport, Military ID, Permanent Resident Card or Employment Authorization Card. A school-issued photo ID may also be accepted when presented with a birth certificate.

The screening includes a check of the National Sex Offender Registry and is designed to help us maintain a safe environment for everyone we serve.

We encourage families to share this information in advance with grandparents, relatives, friends and other spectators who may plan to attend.

Please allow a few extra minutes for check-in, particularly on your first visit.
Thank you for partnering with us as we continue to make the safety of our children, participants, and families our highest priority.

For anyone who is 18+, and not a YMCA Member, please follow the steps below to create a Community Member Account, so you can scan into our system when entering YMCA facilities and program spaces.
