The Competitive Youth Basketball League at the YMCA is designed to foster skill development and provide a positive, competitive environment for young athletes. This league places a greater emphasis on game knowledge and execution—officials will be less lenient and expect players to demonstrate a solid understanding of basketball fundamentals.

The season includes seven games and is open to boys and girls ages 7 and up. All divisions are gender-specific to ensure a fair and balanced level of competition.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR SUMMER 2025

• Coaches Meeting – Saturday June 14th at 10:00am @ Hutcherson YMCA Gym
• Basketball Parent Meeting – Friday June 13th at 6pm @ Hutcherson YMCA
• First Practices Week of June 16th
• First Games on June 21st
• Last Games on August 9th

UNIFORMS

Basketball Jersey Requirements:

LOCATIONS & PRACTICE

Practices will be held at your home YMCA branch, the date and time will be determined by the volunteer coaches

Games may rotate between all YMCA of Greater Tulsa locations depending on league size.

 COACHES NEEDED

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

It is the policy of the YMCA of Greater Tulsa that no person be denied membership or program participation due to the inability to pay. Funds for financial assistance are provided through the YMCA’s Annual Support Campaign.
