Welcome to the Jordan YMCA Fall Basketball League. We are happy you are joining us! We’re looking to a fun filled season with you, your family, and friends. Here at the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis we focus on learning the fundamentals, meeting new friends, and having fun! The purpose of this message is to help you find the answers you need in preparation for the first day of our league.

• League dates
  • Saturday October 23rd-Saturday December 16th
• Any dates we will not play
  • We will not meet on Saturday November 27th in observance of Thanksgiving.
• When to expect schedules with exact times
  • Full season schedules will be released on Monday October 25th
• What day of the week are games/practices
  • All Rec+ teams will practice on Wednesday evenings with games being hosted around the greater Indianapolis area each Saturday.
• What the general structure of the league will be each week.
  • Rec+ teams will practice with their teams on Wednesday nights and play games on Saturday’s.  We will keep scores and standings for this league.
• When rosters will be finalized
  • Final rosters will be released on Monday October 25th
• When are uniforms passed out
  • Uniforms will be passed out the second week of the season, October 30th.
• When is picture day
  • Picture day will be Saturday November 13th.
• What should they wear
  • Please come in comfortable athletic clothing, and non-marking tennis shoes.
• What should they bring
  • Please bring a water bottle and a ball if you have one.  We will provide balls if you do not have one.

We will be having a parent meeting via Zoom Here you will learn even more about the structure of the league, rules, and other FAQs. We’ll also have time for any questions you might have.
