Co-Ed | 2023 Fall Adult Volleyball

• There will be five weeks of pool play, with one week of single elimination bracket play.
  
• Season record ties will be decided by: 1) Head to Head  2) Head to Head Point Differential  3) Average Point Differential
• Championship t-shirts to the winning team.
  
• Net Height:  Co-Ed Recreational – 7′ 4 1/8″
  
• Competition for co-ed (6v6): Teams may not have more than (3) men on the court at a time. Must have at minimum, (4) players on the court at a time, maximum of (6). When the ball is played more than once by a team, a female player shall make at least one of the contacts. Contact of the ball during blocking shall not constitute playing the ball. There is no requirement for a male player to contact the ball, regardless of the number of hits by a team.
• NO intentional kicks where the ball passes back over the net. 
• Rally scoring will be used. Best of three. First two games to 25, win by two. Third game if needed to 15, win by two.
• Referee will be provided by the YMCA. 
• Teams will provide scorekeeper.
• Co-Ed Recreational League:
  • Men are NOT allowed to spike in front of the 10′ line.
  • Men should not leave their feet in front of the 10′ line unless they are attempting to keep the volley alive in a non-spike/non-aggressive manner. Intent of the player will be judged.
  • Men are allowed to set in front of the 10′ line as long as at least one foot does not leave the ground and they are not “lifting/catching” the ball.
  • Officials have discretion on all calls.
