U9 (Ages 7-8) Information
At this age group our focus is to continue working with participants on fundamental skills, as well as learning strategies to playing soccer while promoting good sportsmanship.

Practice  Locations-

North Jefferson Family Y

• This age group will have practice twice a week  (practice time will be determined by number of participant registration).

• When the season begins you will be able to find games and times at ygametime.com. 

Practices begin the February 26th

Practice and games will be scheduled throughout the season from

5:30 to 6:30 and 6:30 to 7:30 time slots.

Looking to Volunteer Coach or Referee?

• We rely on our parents and community volunteers to coach our soccer teams. If your interested in coaching please let April Parker at [email protected]

Coaches Meeting
• Coaches meeting will be TBD.

Equipment
• This age group uses a size 4 soccer ball if your child would like to use their own.
• Players are required to wear athletic attire, soccer cleats, soccer socks, and shin guards.

*We as the YMCA will do our best to meet all request but are not guaranteed*
