Welcome to the OrthoIndy Foundation YMCA Rec Baseball/ T-Ball League.?We are happy?you’re joining us! We’re?looking to a fun filled season with you, your family, and friends. Here at the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis we focus on learning the fundamentals, meeting new friends, and having fun! The purpose of?this?message is to help you?find?the answers you need in preparation for the first day of our league.

Saturdays at 9:00am for 7 weeks (4/22-6/3)

• The first two weeks of the league will be hour long practices with everyone in your age division.

Tentative schedule for the first two practice weeks and the season:

• Ages 4-6 will be at 9:00am.
• Y Gametime will be our home for league information, schedules and communication
• We will post the game schedules on Y Gametime after the second practice.

Rec leagues are played entirely at OrthoIndy Foundation YMCA. This league will be played on the field behind the center. They are powered by parent volunteers and promote equal playtime and teamwork. Jersey is included and no travel is required. Jerseys and hats will be provided and given out week 2.

• Please arrive 15 minutes before your session begins
• Wear your jersey, cleats, and gym shorts/ sweats each week.
• Always bring at least one water bottle for your participant.
• Game Format: 20 min practice 40 min game (starting week 3)
• Goal is to develop and strengthen skills and put those skills into game situations
• First two practices: evaluation with the purpose of dividing teams evenly
• Umpires are Coach/Staff or Volunteer
• Division Breakdown ages 4-6
• Ages 4-6 will hit off a tee.
