The 5th/6th grade division is for players looking to improve their overall game play. This level should be able to serve underhand well and serve overhand by the end of season. They should be able to bump, set, and rally. Players will work on spiking if possible.
Practices will be 2 times a week with times decided on by coaches based on availability. Games for this level will be Tuesday evenings.
Cost: $75 member/ $90 non-member
The prices of equipment and gear are going up! We need replacement balls for this level and also have dreams of expanding to other gyms for practice and even games. That being said, financial burdens should never be a barrier to participation in sports! Contact Caleb Haynes, Y Sports Director to discuss options. If a kid wants to play, they’ll play!
