Itty Bitty Division (Ages 3-4) | 2024 Summer T-ball & Baseball League

Information

Welcome to T-ball/Baseball League at the Ventura YMCA! We are thrilled to have your child joining us for a season filled with fun! Please see the following for basic info on the season:

Jerseys

• Parents are required to purchase their child’s own jersey. You will NOT need to purchase another jersey if you would like to participate in future seasons. If you already have this jersey, you do NOT need to purchase another one. Here is the link to order: YMCA Uniform Store
• All that is required to purchase is the MULTI-SPORT JERSEY

Uniforms

• YMCA Multi-Sport Jersey
• Gray pants
• Cleats (no metal spikes allowed)
• Child’s favorite hat. (YMCA logo hat is not yet available on the uniform website but is being worked on for future seasons)

Equipment:

• The YMCA provides extras of all equipment – Gloves, Bats, Helmets
• However, we recommend that your child bring their own equipment (Specifically gloves and helmets) for the sake of comfort.

Team Assignments

• Parents receive their child’s team assignment by an automated email sent through YGametime prior to the start of the season. YGametime emails are entitled “Ventura Family YMCA” and contain important information.

Practices

• All practices are located at Anacapa Middle School field located right next to the Ventura YMCA. We recommend for the time being that you park at Anacapa Middle School’s parking lot.
• Be sure to bring water and comfortable clothes. Cleats are optional for practice.
• The items recommended in the equipment section above should be brought to both practices and games if you have it.

Games

• Your game schedule is right here, on YGametime! Scroll down to see the entire season schedule. Find your team name on that schedule. At the top of the page, it will also remind you who your coach is and your practice day/time/location.

Timeline Reminders

• Practices start the week of 7/1 – 7/5
• First game: 7/13
• Picture Day: Saturday, 7/27
• Last games/celebration: 8/24
