Crosstown Classic - Friday: June 26th

We are excited to invite you to attend the inaugural Crosstown Classic presented by Cherokee Nation on Friday, June 26, at the Booker T. Washington High School Field House in Tulsa.

The Crosstown Classic is a community all-star basketball game featuring some of the top high school basketball players from across the Tulsa area. This special event celebrates student-athletes while bringing the community together in support of local children and families.

Thanks to the generosity of Cherokee Nation, YMCA basketball families can attend at no cost.

Event Schedule
• Doors Open: 6:00 PM
• Program Begins: 6:30 PM
• Tip-Off: 7:00 PM

Mention the YMCA at the door for free entry!

6-19 - Juneteenth $0 Day Pass $0 Join Fee

In celebration of Juneteenth, the YMCA is offering FREE Day Passes and a $0 Join Fee on June 19th!

Juneteenth is a time to celebrate freedom, community, and coming together, and we'd love for you to join us.

This is the perfect opportunity to experience everything the YMCA has to offer at no cost. Bring your family, invite your friends, and encourage anyone who may be interested in becoming part of our YMCA community.

As a current Sports participant, this is also a great opportunity to become a YMCA member before Fall Sports registration opens and start taking advantage of our member discount on programs.

With a free day pass, you can:

• Swim in the pool
• Play basketball in the gym
• Try a workout on the fitness floor
• Explore YMCA programs and amenities
• Spend time with family and friends

If you decide to join, we'll waive the joining fee and help you get started as a YMCA member!

We look forward to celebrating Juneteenth with our community and showing you all that the YMCA has to offer.

Gameday Tips!

Hello!

Our first game day is this Saturday, and we are excited to see all of our athletes take the court!

Gameday Reminders & Tips

Arrival
• Arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow time for check-in, warm-ups, and finding your court.
• Make sure your athlete brings athletic shoes and a water bottle.

Jerseys
• Jerseys are required for league play.
• We understand that not everyone has had an opportunity to receive their jersey before the first game day, so we will be flexible this week.
• Beginning next week, YMCA jerseys will be required for participation in games.
• To determine which jersey color to wear, check your game schedule:

The team listed on the top will wear White
The team listed on the bottom will wear Blue/Black

Before You Go
• Check YGAMETIME before heading to the facility to confirm your game time and location.
• If your athlete is unable to attend, please notify your coach as soon as possible.

YMCA Sports Expectations
• Encourage your athlete to do their best, be a great teammate, and have fun.
• Remember that YMCA Sports focuses on skill development, sportsmanship, and character growth just as much as winning and losing.
• Please cheer positively for all players, coaches, officials, and teams to help create a fun and encouraging environment for every athlete.

Most importantly, enjoy the experience! We can't wait to see your athlete have fun and continue growing both on and off the court.
