24 Hour Policy

24 Hour Policy:
• The YMCA Sports department does NOT permit any individual to confront a referee or YMCA Sports official at any time. If a situation arises in which a referee’s actions create a problem, please give the situation 24 hours to cool down.
• After the 24 hours have passed, if you still feel strongly that something should be done, please contact the Sports Director.

Inclement Weather Policy

Rainouts: the call will be made between 2:00- 4:00 pm the day of the activity unless on Sat. then the call will be made Friday by 5:00pm or no later than 7:00am the day of event.
If no call is made, the decision will be called on the field. The host branch field rep must be present at the field 2 hours prior to the first game to make weather call and to assure the field is free of any hazards and is up to Y standards.

YOUTH BASKETBALL REGISTRATION IS OPEN

Important 2024-2025 Youth Basketball Information

Registration
October 21st – December 1st
Late Registration (additional $15 late fee) December 2nd-8th
Age control Date is August 1st 2024
Coaches Meeting (Coaches Only) in the Sports Complex at The Wilson Family Y:
Week of December 9th at 6:30pm  
Practice
U7 - U15 begins the week of January 5th
Practice days and times are determined by the volunteer coach and will be held M-F between 5-8pm.
Jerseys will be handed out at your team’s last practice before your first game.
Iddy Bitty Basketball
Instruction will begin on January 25th at the time you signed up for; 9am, 10am, 11am, or 12pm. Instruction will be held in the youth gym.
Games
U7-U15 will play on either Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays. Other days may be included depending on the size of the league.

**Please note some games may be played at other locations depending on size of the league**

**Players may not be dropped off or left unattended during practice or games**
