2026 Fall Flag Football

Wilson YMCA  Flag Football is designed for male and female players who are ready to build on basic skills and start learning more about game strategy in a fun, supportive environment. This program emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence while helping players improve running, passing, catching, flag pulling, and defensive skills.

Practice & Game Schedule:

• Practices begin the week of October 12

• Games start the week of October 26

• All practices and games are held at the Wilson Family Y Fields

Observation & Draft:

• U9- Saturday, September 26 at 10:00 AM

• U12- Saturday, September 26 at 11:00 AM
• U15- Saturday, September 26 at 12:00 PM

• Players will participate in drills and activities to help coaches assess skills and create balanced teams

• All players will be drafted into teams regardless of attendance at Observation Day

• Some players may be exempt from Observation Day if coaches select them from their request list

Coaches’ Meeting:
Wednesday, September 23 at 7:00 PM in the Pavilion

Parent Involvement:
Parents are encouraged to get involved! Volunteer coaches receive free memberships and program registrations and play an important role in helping the season run smoothly.

NOTE: The league may require COED format depending on registration numbers

This program is a great way for young players to continue developing skills, build confidence, and enjoy the excitement of football with their peers!
